Oklahoma City residents are buzzing with curiosity after two separate sightings of unexplained objects in the night sky. The first, described as a "jellybean with plasma moving around inside it," was spotted by Chris Frederick, an Oklahoma educator and licensed drone pilot, around 8:00 PM.

“I happened to look up—and there it was: a UFO,” Frederick recalled. His sighting quickly attracted the attention of 15 to 20 neighbors, who took videos and photos of the strange object. Frederick attempted to launch a drone for a closer look, but an unusual technical issue prevented it from flying. “I got a ‘Can’t take off due to electromagnetic interference’ message,” he explained. Despite multiple recalibration attempts, the drone’s battery warning forced him to land prematurely. The object remained visible for nearly four hours before vanishing, raising concerns about airspace safety due to its proximity to Will Rogers World Airport.

Less than 24 hours later, another unexplained event was recorded in the city’s Plaza District. At 10:30 PM CST, a drone flying at 1,000 feet captured an unusual image—what appeared to be a balloon-like structure with red smoke trailing beneath it. Have you seen something similar?
