In the second episode of Skywatcher, Jake Barber and his team take their investigation of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) to the next level. This time, they’re not just watching the skies—they’re actively trying to make contact using a mix of tech and mind-based methods. The episode explores two main approaches: “machine calling,” which uses electromechanical signals, and “psionic calling,” a kind of meditative, mental outreach.
We also meet a new face—James Fowler, the guy leading the tech team at Skywatcher. He’s helping bring a more structured, scientific edge to the project. One of the big highlights of the episode is the team’s introduction of a new classification system for UAPs. They break them down into nine different types, with names like the Tic Tac, jellyfish, and manta ray—each one with its own unique behavior and appearance.
The crew also heads back out into the field, with familiar names like Dr. Garry Nolan, Alex Klokus, and Matt Pines joining the hunt. They're gathering fresh data and pushing the envelope on how we understand these mysterious objects.
