The Great UFO Data Scrub: Are We Witnessing a Digital Cover-Up?

In recent months, a troubling trend has emerged that’s raising alarms across the UFO disclosure community: a coordinated and systemic effort to erase, alter, or suppress critical information related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) from the internet. Whether by coincidence or design, this apparent campaign is targeting key figures and statements that have shaped the modern disclosure narrative.
One glaring example is the sudden sabotage of Harald Malmgreen's Wikipedia page. Once a valuable source for background on his involvement in UAP investigations, it has been reduced to a shell of its former self—if not wiped out entirely—by what appears to be a malicious actor. Even more disturbing is the outright deletion of Christopher Mellon's Wikipedia page. Mellon, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and one of the most credible voices advocating for UFO transparency, has played a major role in legitimizing the discussion in Washington. His erasure sends a chilling message: credibility won’t protect you from digital oblivion.
This isn’t an isolated incident.
The UFO community on Reddit recently unearthed another shocking case of information manipulation. A user named WonderTwin01 highlighted that the Associated Press (AP) appears to have censored a crucial part of the July 2023 congressional testimony by whistleblower David Grusch—specifically, his reference to the recovery of “non-human biologics.” The AP version of the video cuts away just before Grusch makes this now-infamous claim. Fortunately, alternate streams—such as the one from The Independent—retain the full, unedited footage.
The censorship was obvious to anyone comparing the versions. WonderTwin01 put it bluntly:
“I recently went back to the original hearing where David Grusch made his famous statement about biologics being found by the US and I noticed a strange cut/edit while I was watching. Turns out the AP cut out his statement... So incredibly strange and obvious. Clear censorship by the AP.”
This edit is not a matter of trimming content for time or clarity—it’s an act of deliberate omission that fundamentally alters the record of a historic moment.
Let’s recap:
Key Wikipedia pages are being deleted or manipulated.
Congressional testimony is being edited by mainstream media outlets.
Whistleblowers, including decorated veterans, are being discredited by leaks of their personal medical records.
This is more than negligence. It's an active distortion of the public record.
What’s most damning is how these tactics echo historical efforts to control narratives through censorship and disinformation. The U.S. is often portrayed as the bastion of free speech and transparency, yet here we are, watching digital manipulation unfold in real time, all seemingly to suppress public access to truths about our place in the universe.
As always, the internet remembers. But only if we fight to preserve what remains.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using...
