Stanton Friedman
Stanton Terry Friedman (July 29, 1934 – May 13, 2019) was an American-Canadian nuclear physicist and prominent ufologist. Friedman worked as a nuclear physicist for companies like General Electric, Westinghouse, TRW, and McDonnell Douglas. In 1970, he shifted his focus to ufology, becoming a leading figure in the field. Friedman was the first civilian investigator of the Roswell UFO incident and a proponent of the Majestic 12 documents, which he believed evidenced a government cover-up of extraterrestrial encounters. Throughout his career, Friedman lectured extensively, authored several books—including "Top Secret/MAJIC" and "Crash at Corona"—and participated in numerous media appearances to discuss UFO phenomena. He passed away on May 13, 2019, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 84.
